No more black bars, just authentic widescreen movies in 1080p Full HD and Theater 3D. With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value. You can trust this review, i hope you can try to buy this product and then you know this product good or no. Next time you can make a review for another people.
One incredible Tv So, I bought this tv to replace my 54'' Panasonic. 3 years old roughly 2800 from Cruchfield. I wanted to get a really good affordable LED.
I got a great price fromAmazon on this one and pulled the trigger. This Tv is not for everyone. You feel like you are losing horizontal picture. Truth is your not. This set takes a little getting use to. Its by far the most beautiful/stylish set ive seen to date.
The picture itself is gorgeous. Crisp, detailed and it pops. Where this set excels is watching blu ray movies.
Take a good look at this set if your in the market. Its that good!
Decent TV for ultimate movie watcher! Well it appears I am the first person to write a review on this product the XVT 58in Cinema wide TV by Vizio. Out of the box the TV worked well and setup didn't take too long. I am a very picky person when it comes to my TV's and have gone through a lot of products. I got this TV because I love movies and wanted something new and first of its kind. This fit that bill movies looked good on the TV. Watching regular cable with the stretch picture is a little strange faces are weird shaped and all. You can turn off that feature and go to a normal view anytime so that makes that irrelevant. The speakers seemed to work well but I mainly run my surround sound and disable TV speakers.
The TV was quite heavy so was quite difficult to maneuver by myself. I only used the 3d on a ps3 game COD and it seemed to work well. I don't own any other 3d products yet but when Avengers comes out that will change. I did notice a little image correction at times when scenes in movies or... Great 2D, killer 3D For me this TV size is a dream come true. For past two years I have owned a Sony HX800 LED LCD with 3D. The Sony 3D has always been marginal in 3D with the overblown brightness revealing the cloudiness that the local dimmed LED function usually hides. This makes anamorphic 3D films have bright bars or corners which are distracting. The set is also unable to zoom in on this content (I hate black bars so I usually zoom in on all films). The crosstalk has always made 3D kind of lame with video games impossible to stomach. Finally, the glasses are uncofortable and are battery hungry - we have 6 pairs and one or more always need new batteries even when we only watch a couple of hours a month of 3D movies. Other than this the Sony is a great TV in regular 2D content.
The Vizio picture quality in 2D is just as good as the Sony, but 16:9 content is smaller. I wish Vizio had a geometry correct zoom for 16:9 in order to get a bigger feel but its not such a big deal to me since I care... Product Features :
VIZIOs revolutionary XVT Series Cinema wide 3D HDTV sports an ultra-wide 21:9 panoramic screen, so you can watch movies the way they are meant to be without any black bars
Cinema-quality Theater 3D Experience: Theater 3D delivers clearer, brighter 3D with comfortably lightweight, battery-free glasses like the ones used in movie theaters

Great Wall Mount Purchase I've had the swivel mount for a few weeks now and I'm so glad I purchased this model. It was an easy set up and does everything its supposed to. I was a little leary to put our 42" 60lb tv on it up in the air, but once we got it all set up it was the best decision I'd made. I was thinking of just buying an angled mount without the extension capabilities, but that would have been such a pain to get all the wiring hooked to and hidden behind the tv. With this set up we are able to make easy cable adjustments, and either pull the tv out, angle it further up or down and push it back to the wall to give it a more fit look. I strongly sugges purchasing this product and would buy it again if I needed to.
Does the job - Great price After extensive searches I settled on this one for it's 22" (min 5", max 27") extension - more than most of the others. In my situation we do 95% of our viewing in a small den, and 5% of the time we need to turn the TV close to 90 degress to open up to a bigger crowd in the living room. So I wasn't too concerned about frequent adjusments. And I needed 22" extension to be able to swivel a 47" TV that far.
Despite some concerns after reading reviews, the item arrived assembled and instructions were clear. All the mounting hardware was neatly packaged in plastic - all separated by type. Included are a variety of screws and spacers to allow connecting the brackets to various TVs. Also includes 4 lag screws and washers for wall mount. One review mentioned the TV would loosely slide once mounted - not true if you tighten up the appropriate bolts. Steps: 1) secure wall bracket/arms to wall, 2) secure TV brackets to TV, 3) hang TV, slide to... Best Shelf for the price This is the best shelf I could find for the price. If you want a shelf with a lot of adjustability this is the one. I have a 46" Vizio LCD TV mounted to it and it works great. Just a couple of things you should know. Make sure you tighten all bolts down at the time of assembly so that the mount does not lean or sag. Also the instructions are terrible. Actually they are practically none existant. If you are not mechanically inclined then this mount is not for you. I am a mecahnical engineer who does not usually read the instructions anyway so it was not that bad. One thing I did learn the hard way is that when you mount it to the wall do not install the front plate the TV mounts too until after you have it on the wall. Once the arm is on the wall then install the front plate and hang your TV on it. The bad instructions are the reason that I did not give it 5 stars. Product Features :
Fits most 32" - 65" flat panel displays with mounting holes 600x400, 600x300, 600x200, 500x300, 400x400, 400x300, 400x200, 300x300, 300x200, 200x200, 200x100 mm

3D Technology Checklist
This product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use the checklist below to ensure you have everything you need. 3D viewing requires:
A Display First, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.
A Source Your display may be ready for 3D playback, but you'll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system.
3D Content 3D content--the actual entertainment, in other words--will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it's a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game.
3D Glasses For now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered "active shutter" glasses, others polarized "passive" glasses. You'll need one pair per viewer, and they'll have to be compatible with your display, whether they're the same brand, or a pair of "universal" glasses designed to work across brands.
HDMI Cable To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality.

With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value. You can trust this review, i hope you can try to buy this product and then you know this product good or no. Next time you can make a review for another people.
Absolutely fantastic for 3d and movies. Be a little cautious with gaming. Summary: Great value for a 3D LED set. Passive 3D is much more impressive than I initially thought it would be. Input lag a deterrent for timing-strict gaming.
Bought this TV because of its glowing reviews and it did deliver, as expected.
Picture Quality: Above Average -> Great. It's on par with Sharp's and Vizio's best models. Edge LED lighting leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of artifacts and black/white levels, but I'd be surprised if its noticed by the average viewer. It's does light and colors really well. Local dimming and tru-motion makes movie and TV watching an absolute blast.
Sound: This TV surprising packs some wallop behind its audio. Definitely not surround sound material, but on par with basic soundbars. I was impressed to say the least -- quite possibly one of the best out-of-the-box audio for thin LED TV's.
Passive 3d: The bonafide specialty of this set. LG does not lie when they say they do the best 3d around -- it...
It's a nice set I bought this set about a week ago and I've ran it through the ringer to test out everything. So far I'm pretty impressed.
The drawbacks aren't very many and they're not too much of a game-changer. One, there are no audio outputs from the tv other than an optical output. If you have a legacy sound system that doesn't have an optical input, it's not the end of the world. For an extra ~$25 or so you can get a stereo adapter that transfers the optical signal to coax or composite RCA analog. $100 to get yourself one that'll do dolby surround (which I had to do). It was a bit off-putting, and I was tempted to just get a new home theater system, but it was necessary for me to get (and save a couple hundred more dollars) who has a ton of extra gaming and video devices that I use. It's easier to just run an audio out from the television to the home theater system and plug everything into the tv to not have to mess with too many settings. I think you'll find audio output... LG did a great job on 3d with this tv.. 47LW6500 I give this tv a 4 star rating. I'm one of the people who don't like the active shutter glasses. primarily because I wear glasses already and adding a heavy second pair bothered me. My cousin purchases the sony 3d tv with active shutter glasses and I can say first hand that after watching 2/3 of avatar 3d I had a splitting headache. this pretty well told me active shutter wasn't for me. I blamed the headache on the weight of the glasses more then the shutter. however I can't prove that. what I can say is that after reviewing the differences in 3d I decided that passive 3d was for me. my reason for this is that I was able to watch 3d avatar at the theater without getting a headache so I thought since it was the same technology it should work. well it's been 3 day since i've had the lg passive 3d tv and after watching avatar, despicable me, and tangled I can say NO headaches!!!!!! I can also tell you the 3d quality may be equal to theater real3d but doesn't have the... Product Features :
