Best Active 3D Glasses Out There
Since your brand purchase decision of a 3D TV basically 'locks' you into that brand's compatible 3D glasses (they're not interchangeable), I thought I'd tell you my experience between the Sharp and Samsung.
Before purchasing a Sharp 60LE847U 3D TV, I purchased and had to return due to other performance issues a Samsung UN55D7000 series 3D TV. (Of the two, the Sharp TV is by far the superior 3D Smart TV, but I digress.)
When comparing the Sharp AN3DG20B Active 3D glasses with the Samsung SSG3050GB Active 3D glasses, Sharp again wins hands down. While the Sharp glasses are roughly 3x the price of the Samsung, it's truly a case of 'you get what you pay for.'
Style, fit, and comfort wise, the Sharp is by far the better of the two glasses. While I didn't measure the lens sizes of the two glasses, the Sharp's lens seem to be larger and its temples definitely wider, thus providing a better viewing experience. RE-chargeable and $70 dollars less than AN 3Dg10-s model
Title is enough said. I got the AN-3dg10-s for free with the TV projects. Could not stop myself from getting the AN-3dg20-b once I was told the price of $85 less then what Sharp was recommending the price. 30 hours of usage between charges with an 90 minute charge time equals zero need for batteries. Light weight and simple looking compared to An-3dg10-s. Only need to switch postion on knob compared to holding button to turn on or off. So far so good.

glasses came free w/60" sharp 3d tv i also bought at amazon! they work great, light and very cool looking! very easy to use, and charge up by pluging up to any usb port!
