Great for odd size VESA mount TVs
My TV has an odd size of VESA mount. The TV is an LG 47LC7DF that has a VESA 800x400 hole pattern. It was very hard to find a mount for it that didn't cost a lot. This mount does not tilt, but for my purposes that is not a problem. It was easy to install and came with all the hardware I needed. I did use the longer bolts and spacers for the TV to give extra room for the cables, but it's easy to find right angle cables if you want to mount it closer to the wall. The mount is very sturdy.
The only thing that was difficult was placing the TV on the wall once all the hardware was installed, however that was probably due to this being my first wall mount installation. My only tip would be to have the person that will help put the TV up (you have to have two people) practice installing the brackets onto the wall mount before installing them on the TV. That way they can get a feel for how they attach before trying to do it while holding up the TV.

Good cheap upgrade for expensive TVs
Took a long time and alot of effort to get it all in place, but the product itself serves its function. The one I got doesn't have a locking bar or slide, but rather after it hooks at the top, it has two velcro strings you use to engage clips over the bottom edge of the bracket, to keep the bottom from tilting out. From what I can tell, even when they are disengaged the TV can't tilt away at the bottom, but I suppose it could be lifted up off the top rail.
I recommend using the longer bolts and spacers to attach the brackets to the TV itself. If I hadn't used them, I wouldn't have gotten the power or HDMI cables into the back of the TV when I was done. It's supposed to be ultra slim, but if you can stand having it an extra inch from the wall, it makes it possible to plug the cables into it.
Also, make sure you pay attention to the maximum hole pattern! If you have stupid 18" studs instead of 16", it can only span two of them instead of 3. Still works, but less...
Works great but use your own level
Bought this to hang a Samsung 58" plasma PN58C7000. The mount seems sturdy and well made and we were able to span it across two studs. The big horizontal flat piece attaches to the wall and the two short vertical bars attach to the back of the TV. The TV then hooks onto the wall mount on top and is secured at the bottom with a long metal bar that slides through rail holes and stops the TV from lifting up.
As with all ultra slim mounts, sometimes they can be *too* slim depending on your TV and installation - we had to add spacers to make room for a right-angled power cord that plugged in right behind the TV, as well as one of those heavy round thingies that clamp around the power cord to reduce electrical noise (sorry I don't know the proper term). The unit came with plastic spacers but the short one was too short, and the long one was too long so we used a hacksaw to cut the long spacer to size.
